Deane and Virginia Harris of Wingswept Llewellins in Jasper, Florida are the signature trainers for Wingswept Quail Preserve. They are an Orvis endorsed breeding and training kennel with over 50 years experience in hunting, training and breeding the Llewellin. We are privileged to be selected as their training facility and to provide their dogs exclusively for the pleasure of our hunting members.

All members will be notified of training classes scheduled by Wingswept Llewellins. Priority access will be given to members on a first come first serve basis.

Members may use the facility to train their own dogs at no charge except for birds used.

Other trainers are available depending on the level of training and the breed. Contact us for details.

Training sessions requiring quail require a minimum of 3 birds per session.

Birds will be provided to the member in a container to be returned to the preserve after the session.

Training tools will not be provided.

Guests may train dogs with a paid annual member. Each guest is allowed to participate a maximum of two days per calendar month.
